CALIFORNIA BASEBALL ACADEMY MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT
The CBA membership fee covers: any CBA workouts offered, a CBA Roster spot, CBA member discount to Perfect Game Showcases, access to all college camps and tournaments we have to offer, our "FieldLevel" college recruiting online profile platform, updated player evaluation, and college recruiting assistance.
The membership does not cover actual tournament games, league games, travel expense, college camps, uniform or any recommended showcases as they incur an additional fee per event that you choose to attend.
The CBA membership is five (5) months minimum.
If a player joins CBA their Senior Graduation Year, or if any player already in the CBA program continues into their Senior Graduation Year, and plays in any games or participates in any workouts during the fall/winter of their senior year the monthly membership continues through January of the senior year.
If you elect, you can simply cancel after the minimum membership is up, and you will not be billed from that point forward. To cancel please notify the CBA office by emailing/calling:

CBA requires fifteen (15) Days notice to cancel prior to your next scheduled debit.
There is a $20.00 late fee charge on returned fees that do not process.
All CBA Membership Dues are nonrefundable.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
BY ELECTRONICALLY AGREEING TO THIS, THE PARTICIPANT AFFIRMS HAVING READ IT.
IN CONSIDERATION of being allowed to participate in any way in the California Baseball Academy Program, I, the undersigned, acknowledge, understand, and agree that:
1. I RISK BODILY INJURY, INCLUDING PARALYSIS, DISMEMBERMENT, DISABILITY AND DEATH, AND while particular rules of the sport, skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, THIS RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY DOES EXIST, AS WELL AS THE RISK OF DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ANY AND ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERS, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, or if I observe any concern in my readiness for participation, I will immediately bring such to the attention of the nearest official and remove myself from participation; and,
4. I, FOR MYSELF, and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS and PROMISE NOT TO SUE California Baseball Academy or National Pastime LLC, their officers, officials, volunteers, employees, agents, and/or other participants, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, the owners and lessors of premises used for the activity ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, and/or LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, EXCEPT THAT WHICH IS THE RESULT OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR MISCOUNDUCT, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I have read this Release of Liability and Waiver Agreement, fully understand its terms, and sign it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
